Graduate Civil Engineer
Location: Maidstone
Type: Permanent / Full Time
Salary: £26,000-£30,000 per annum
The Role
We are looking for passionate graduate engineers to work alongside our experienced team in our Maidstone Office. We deliver civil engineering designs for a range of sectors including residential, education, sports, public realm, commercial and industrial.
You’ll be assisting from project inception through to construction phase support for the following:
- Flood Risk Assessments & Drainage Strategies
- Site Visits
- Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
- Surface water drainage design
- Foul water drainage design
- Private and adoptable roads design and applications
- Private and adoptable drainage design and applications
About you
We are seeking people who are inspired by civil engineering and those seeking long term careers within the discipline. Ideally, you will have the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- Aptitude to work through your own initiative and be proactive
- BSc / BEng / MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) at 2:1 or above through an ICE / CIWEM accredited course
- Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, inclusive of Outlook, Word & Excel
- Experience using AutoCAD, Civils3D, MicroDrainage, or similar would be desirable but not essential
- Awareness of sustainability and how you can contribute to social value
